Leigh Pettifer

Leigh founded Circuit 2 Circuit in 2000, after having first started off working for himself in 1986, transporting Porsche 956/962 show cars to and from Germany for Richard Lloyd Racing based at Silverstone (sponsored by Liqui Moly). The team manager decided at the beginning of 1988 that he would start his own Group C Sports car team competing in the World Sports Car Championship with a Spice SE87c and since Leigh had gained an HGV licence took him on as the truckie / tyre / fuel man. In 1989 he was offered the position of chief truckie at work’s team Spice Engineering. The team went into administration in January 1991 so Leigh went to Footwork F1 (Arrows) as a test team truckie until the end of 1993. The team then reverted back to Arrows F1 for the 1994 season when he was then put onto the race team. Due to the team having financial difficulties at the end of 1994, he then went to Williams F1 as a test team truckie/tyre man in January 1995 and stayed there until the end of 1997. In that time Williams secured both driver (Damon Hill & Jacques Villeneuve) and constructor championships. Deciding that he wanted to go back racing, in 1998 Leigh moved to Jordan F1 for the season which including winning the Belgium GP at Spa that year (Jordan’s 1st win).

Leigh then joined Stewart Grand Prix in 1999(which became Jaguar F1 for the 2000 season). At the end of 2000 he started Circuit 2 Circuit Ltd; bringing with him a tremendous wealth of experience working within the car transportation and motorsport industries. Since then he has been proud to have worked with some of the top names in the motor and racing industry, having moved numerous race cars, classic cars and show cars in our fully enclosed trailers and transporters.

Paul Singlehurst

Paul, started his career in motor racing in 1990 with Eddie Jordan Racing and then moved on to Paul Stewart Racing doing F3000 series all over Europe. Here he learnt that attention to detail is everything, looking smart, correct etiquette and always having a super tidy vehicle which is able to do the job in hand. Here he was in charge of the full set up of Stewart Grand Prix designing all the garage equipment and trucks along with Dave Redding (Chief Mechanic, now the Team Manager at McLaren). In 1998 he went to Williams as Chief Truckie and progressed to the Race Team Co Coordinator working alongside the famous Dickie Stanford (Team Manager) and Carl Gaden (Chief Mechanic). Here he was responsible for all Logistics movements of the F1 team, from freight to personnel, hire cars, hotels etc this was a massive job with total commitment working in highly stressful and competitive surroundings. After 22 years of travelling he decided to take a step back from this and help Leigh run Circuit2 Circuit; having known Leigh since 1998 at Stewart Grand Prix. Both have the same work ethic and mentality, giving an excellent service with attention to all details however big or small the customer.
